Folly farm is a working Macadamia Farm with some eucalyptus plantations. The route guides you up over the north western orchards slopes. Once over the top a couple of quick flicks put you on the downhill run. This leads the rider onto the first piece of fun single track “Bamboo bash”. Once you on the valley floor on the south eastern side, jeep track will take you down the valley and over the stream. The rider then climbs up the fence line to the top of the plantation. At the top the rider will drop into a single track called “we want More” winding through a plantation then into a water seepage line back to the valley floor.

Now the fun on that side is finished its time to head up the valley to the northern fence. When the rider hit’s that it time to sweat to the top of the cleavage climb.

As the rider climbs onto the granite rock, remember to stop at the survey beacon look at the view and take some pics. Then it’s time to fly down “the cleavage” between the two granite koppies.

A quick traverse along the hill side before entering “Nick Nacks loop “single track traversing the northern side of the farm. The leads to the valley floor which puts you onto the last single track called” The departure”. This fast run takes you back down to the beautiful dam and off the farm via the bridges

Warnings and considerations.

Please remember the land owners who have granted access to their home. Please don’t litter and be courteous to all the staff. This is a working farm with mechanical machines moving equipment and staff. Other equipment includes forest logging and loaders, doing mechanical work. Spray machines will spray pesticides on the crop so make sure you stay upwind of these while they pass. Remember farm and forest roads change their compaction throughout the year, so expect anything from hard pack to quagmire. Rocks and branches continuously jump out in front of riders so watch the chatting to you mate and stay focussed. Finally, please remember the trails are not manicured paving but routes through nature. Be careful as nobody can take responsibility but yourself for your actions and accidents.
